Map and Directions to
Fort Lauderdale Beach, Florida
OK so you are interested in
visting Fort Lauderdale Beach but aren't sure exactly
how to get there. If you live outside of Florida, your
best bet is to fly into Fort Lauderale airport (FLL). As
you leave Fort Lauderdale airport, head north on US1.
There are three primary entrances into Fort
Lauderdale Beach - SE 17th Street or A1A on the south side, Las
Olas Boulevard in the heart of Fort Lauderdale Beach
or Sunrise Boulevard on the north
side. SE 17th Street which
becomes A1A is about a mile and a half north of
I-595. Heading north from the airport turn right onto SE
17th street and proceed about two and a half miles till you
reach the beach. You will cross a bridge on your
way. Las Olas Boulevard is about three miles north
of I-595. Turn right onto Las Olas Blvd and the beach is
about two miles east.
If you are driving from within Florida,
take I-95 to the West Broward Blvd exit and head
east about two miles till you get to Andrews Ave. Turn
right and head south a few blocks till you get to Las Olas
Blvd. Turn left onto Las Olas Blvd and head east about
two and a half miles till you get to Fort Lauderdale
Beach. You will have to cross a bridge shortly before you
reach the beach.
